I decided to up my mobile DJ game on several fronts: I wanted a cleaner look for my weddings and events. I wanted a solution that could save me even more time on setup and tear down. After checking out the current market offerings and thinking through the prospect of building my own solution, I decided on purchasing the Infinity L DJ Console from Max Design. https://maxpbdesign.com/dj-gear

At the time of this review, I've had the Infinity about 1 month. I've applied a few modifications to the booth, and had it out for a few events to test drive. Overall I really love my new booth! It's achieved my goals and more. I have a couple small issues that I talk through, but don't think these will be large problems for most people. Danny Max, owner of the company, is great to work with!

Here in my review, I do a full setup and tear down (time lapse), and talk through all the details of the booth and how I use it.

In the video, I talk about an iPad holding arm, which is this product name on Amazon (thanks Andrew Rounds / Music Host Entertainment for the tip!):
AboveTEK Sturdy iPad Holder, Aluminum Long Arm iPad Tablet Mount, 360° Swivel Tablet Stand & Phone Holder with Bracket Cradle Clamps 4"-11" Devices for Kitchen Bedside Office Desk Showcase(White)

I also used a hole saw / drill bit to add power and XLR connectors to one of the legs; product names on Amazon for the power:
15A Weatherproof Outdoor Power Outlet by Journeyman-Pro 15 Amp 125 Volt NEMA 5-15R Receptacle Kit with Integrated 20" Extension Cord + Waterproof Rubber Cover (GCR1-WHITE)
Journeyman-Pro 15 Amp 125V AC Power Inlet Port Plug with Integrated 20" Extension Cord + Waterproof Cover, UL Listed, NEMA 5-15 Flanged Inlet (5278GCP1-WHITE)

The Furman power strip I used is the PST-6.

The USB hub I used is: Anker 40W 5-Port USB Wall Charger, PowerPort 5 for iPhone XS / XS Max / XR / X / 8 / 7 / 6 / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, Galaxy S9 / S8 / Edge / Plus, Note 8 / 7, LG, Nexus, HTC and More, Black (AK-A2124111)

If you have any questions, drop them in the comments!

NOTE: Max Design warns that we’re not supposed to have free floating items loose in the cubbies while the booth is in it’s case for transport. They even put a warning sticker on the booth- I disregarded it in this video, and need to come up with a hack to secure / tie down the items to keep my booth from getting damaged!
