50% tax on the wealth inherited from ancestors?

Politicians are currently debating this topic, which is known as inheritance tax.

It means you work hard your whole life, but after death, you have to give a part of your wealth to the government as a tax.

But is this tax necessary in India??

Because its brother already exists, which is the "Careless Tax."

We Indians have forgotten that around 82,000 crores of rupees are lying unclaimed with banks, insurance companies, and mutual funds houses.

And if we avoid this, there are 90% of Indians who don't even make their will before death, which is why 66% of cases in court are related to property issues.

1. Add a nominee to all your bank accounts, demat accounts, and insurance policies, but don't forget to share the details with the nominee.

2. As soon as you start earning, make your will so it will be clear who will get which asset after your demise, and keep updating your will over time, as your last will is treated as the final will.
