Описание к видео TATUTA DOCUMENTARY FILM

Tatuta Documentary tells about the TATUTA Project, which is a completely natural and alternative life-building model. It is the abbreviation of the words Agriculture - Tourism and Exchange. TaTuTa; “Agricultural Tourism and Voluntary Knowledge and Experience Exchange in Ecological Farms”.
The project, developed in 2003, was carried out between 2004-2006. After the project was completed, it turned into a self-executing program.
The main purpose of the TaTuTa Project was to promote ecological agriculture and ensure its sustainability by providing financial, volunteer labor and/or information support to farmer families living with ecological agriculture in Turkey. TaTuTa Program - known abroad as WWOOF Turkey - continues today with volunteer visits for the same purpose.
The outputs obtained at the end of the project, which was completed in 2006, are as follows: Contracts with new host producers, website, promotional film, many comprehensive publications in the national media, photo archives and local maps, visitor guides, farmer information and experience exchange and organizational meetings, visitors and Social interaction among host farming families.
Overseas promotion support is provided by collaborating with ECEAT (European Center for Eco-AgroTourism), of which Buğday Association is a Turkish establishment and a full member, and the World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) movement. TaTuTa, which started in 2003 with 25 hosts, continues today with 74 hosts.
Voluntary knowledge and experience exchange, which is the basis of the program, brings together farmers and businesses that live on ecological agriculture with people who are knowledgeable, experienced or interested in this field, and enables the exchange of knowledge and experience. While people with knowledge/interest in the technical, marketing, social and environmental dimensions of ecological production share their knowledge, experience and/or workforce during these visits, their food, beverage and shelter needs are met by the host. Additionally, volunteers have access to both social cohesion and knowledge based on real local experience.
The importance and goals of TaTuTa
* Strengthening communication between groups, individuals and different cultures within the ecological life movement,
* Creating and multiplying healthy examples in order to create a sustainable vital resource that is friendly to natural cycles, primarily for the rural population, in ecological production,
* By experiencing life on ecological farms, people living in the city internalize their responsibilities regarding ecological life and put them into practice in their daily lives,
* First-hand ecological methods, experience and knowledge sharing in consumer and producer activities,
* Contributing to the healthy continuation of soil, air, water quality, biodiversity, climates and other natural cycles by supporting nature-friendly production and consumption models.

Buğday Derneği’nin Türkiye kuruluşu ve tam üyesi olduğu ECEAT (European Center for Eco-AgroTourism/Avrupa Ekolojik Tarım Turizmi Merkezi) ve World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF – Organik Çiftliklerde Dünya Çapında Fırsatlar) hareketiyle işbirliği yapılarak yurtdışı tanıtım desteği sağlanıyor. 2003 yılında 25 ev sahibi ile başlayan TaTuTa, bugün 74 ev sahibi ile devam ediyor.
