Vaginismus is when the vagina suddenly tightens up when you try to insert something into it. It can be painful and upsetting, but it can be treated.


Vaginismus is the body's automatic reaction to the fear of some or all types of vaginal penetration. Whenever penetration is attempted, your vaginal muscles tighten up on their own.


Ayurvedic Treatment of Vaginismus


1)Counselling: Because it's related to the brain counselling is very important for this fear. and her partner should cooperate.


2)Relaxation of body and mind: With the help of yoga and meditation, you can relax your body and mind. You can also do therapy like Shirodhara and full body massage.


3)Diet: According to Ayurveda it's a Vata and pitta dosha problem so you should avoid extra hot, spicy and salty things. And do not smoke or drink alcohol.


4)Yoni Pichu: take a small cotton ball and dip it in cow ghee for 10 mins. After that put a cotton ball in your vagina. It can hurt so you can take the help of your husband.


5) Ayurveda Medicine: Mix Shatavri Powder and liquorice powder in equal amounts. Take half spoon of this mixture in the morning and evening with cow's milk. Drink this for 2 months.
