Secure Development Lifecycle

As organizations begin to move into the public cloud, the SDL is more important than ever. Cloud computing means that the computer system resources your organization previously housed in your own data centers has moved to data centers available to many users over the internet. This has become known as the public cloud. Moving to the public cloud allows for scalability and resource sharing that would not otherwise be possible for a single organization.

Security and privacy are key concerns with cloud computing, and using good security protocols is one way to reassure customers that web applications running on cloud platforms are doing so in a safe and trusted environment. Secure public cloud development requires that security considerations be integrated into the design and planning phases of software development.
