Vw Diesel Rat Buggy (street legal)

1967 Vw rail/rat buggy with a Benco Racing built swingaxle and an imported 1.9 turbo diesel Vw AAZ (was never sold in the USA) engine from Quality German Autoparts in CA. Adapter plate by Kennedy Engineered Products. Mitsubishi lancer fans and radiator. 35in tires in the rear, 31ish up front. Disk brakes all around, pretty damn fast for what it is. Great to cruise around in or hit a trail or the beach. Runs on whatever you put in the tank, loves used motor oil, 2stroke oil, whatever you can find laying around. And a little bit of diesel of course. Hates the toyota prius. Posting this because i have meant to for a while, i have a slideshow of the entire project and its origins that i plan on posting at some point to pay homage to it since im tearing it apart and putting all the parts (minus big tires) into a beetle/baja bug. Its been a fun car but i want something i can rip around in year round! Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
