MAS Distro: Fairfield Circuitry - About 900 // Fuzz

The Fairfield Circuitry ~900 (About Nine Hundred) is descended from Fairfield’s classic, long-retired Four Eyes Fuzz. It features two cascading JFET stages and is capable of a huge range of tones, from ripping, gated fuzz, to mellow overdrive and chunky distortion tones. Its simple controls are highly interactive, making it a very malleable dirt box, and leaving plenty of room for sonic exploration. In this demo, we employ the ~900 on both bass and guitar in the opening musical number, highlighting its aggressive side, as well as its tough, punchy low end. Then we get down to business, going through the functions, turning knobs every which way, and exploring all the ins and outs of this highly compelling fuzz pedal.
