Emily is Sober and Social

Emily has set up a new social group - Sober and Social. Here she shares her story and the inspiration for sober socialising!

I came up with the idea of Sober & Social 3 years ago but with one slight issue that I never stayed sober long enough to make it happen.

I had my first drink when I was 13 years old but it wasn't until 25 when I really started to question the negative it effect was having me. I was in a cycle from the age of 25 - 28 of not drinking, drinking, not drinking, drinking. My non-drinking would sometimes last 3 months, sometimes a month or sometimes only a week.
