Accredited actors Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee share their adoration for poet and activist Langston Hughes. The couple then goes on to give advice to the Black community specifically, Black women and the education of young Black people. Following their interview, Dr. John Henrik Clarke a historian, professor, and author discusses the importance of Harlem, New York to Black American culture and to American culture in general. Clarke states that the Black migration severely helped the growth of Harlem.
