✅ As the names already suggest, the Infraredi Flex Max stems from 2022 and the Infraredi Max came out in 2021. The new panel has multiwave technology, pulsing, dimming and sleep mode, and is advertized as being more powerful. In this video, I'll scrutinize these claims
✅ The Infraredi Max placed third in my 2021 body comparison series - you can find the link in the resources section above
✅ The look and design of the panels is different, which is the first thing I observed - the new Infraredi Flex 2022 has been totally re-engineered and designed. The new Flex has more LEDs, at 240 LEDs and the older model has 210 LEDs

✅ Of course, inflation also plays a role as many red light therapy devices have increased in price

✅ The old Infraredi Max only emitted 660 nm and 850 nm light. The new Infraredi Flex Max emits 630 nm (25%), 660 nm (25%), 810 nm (16%), 830 nm (16%), and 850 nm (16%). The pulsing in the new device can also be used from 0 - 10,000 HZ, which is a spectacular improvement. The dimmer feature is also new, and only works not only for the combined red and near-infrared light, or for either or. The pulsing and light brightness through the control panel is a bit cumbersome
✅ Both panels come with the same accessories that are standard. The new model does have a few improvements, such as see-through green lens goggles. And, there is a remove with the new panel, that I don't have a battery for
✅ Then, there's a slight uptick in power output in the new panel. The old peak power was 77 mW/cm2 and the new is 85 mW/cm2, which is about 10% higher. The average over 9 measurements was 65 mW/cm2 in the old panel and 67 mW/cm2 in the new panel. And, lastly, the total Wattage was 97 Watts on the old one and 102 on the new one, which is an improvement as well, by 5%
✅ The $ USD per Watt was $8.20 on the old panel and $8.75 for the new panel, which is slightly worse, but, you get a lot of extras such as the new wavelengths
✅ The Infraredi Max was the quietest panel I tested at 47 dB, and the new one is 49 dB, which is great too
✅ The control panel is improved a bit with the new panel, but still not the best on the market
✅ Very soon, I will compare the Infraredi Flex Max 2022 with the BioMax 900, the MitoPRO 1500, and the Joovv Solo 3.0, so that you can make the best informed decision!
