In the remote corners of Namibia, I spent time with the San Bushmen—one of the world’s oldest surviving cultures. Their way of life has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years.

The San people are master survivalists, living off the land through expert tracking, hunting, and deep knowledge of medicinal plants. Their language, filled with clicks, is one of the oldest spoken tongues on the planet.

But what truly sets them apart is in their blood—geneticists have discovered that the San carry DNA not found in any other population on Earth. This unique lineage dates back over 100,000 years, making them a direct link to the origins of modern humanity.

While filming, I witnessed a beautiful moment: the tribe dancing, while a baby peacefully slept in the background. His parents kindly allowed filming and photos, but I still chose to blur sensitive areas to protect privacy and respect cultural dignity.

Spending time with the San wasn’t just a cultural tour—it was a glimpse into how humanity began.
