GT350/GT350R Rear Differential maintenance / HOW TO perform Rear Differential Fluid Service

Hey guys, welcome back to another GT350 Maintenance segment, check out my other videos servicing my GT350! In this video I service the rear diff fluid in my GT350, she has 16k miles on her. This is the second time servicing the fluid, reason for that is the amount of track days the car has seen. I went with the Amoil Severe Gear 75w-140 for that reason. If you do not track your car, the Amsoil 75w-90 will do the job. I can not speak for other fluids, but as far as the Amsoil Gear oil goes, the Severe Gear family comes with friction modifier already premixed in the fluid for the differential clutches. Never get any chatter and definitely with stands the severe temps an shearing forces a lot better than most other fluids on the market. 2015-2020 Shelby GT350R's
2015-2016 Shelby GT350's w/ track package
2017-2020 Shelby GT350s
2021 Mach 1

Equipment/Tool list:
3 Qts of Amsoil Severe Gear oil (75w-90 - factory weight)
3/8" drive rachet
angled pick/pocket screw driver
fluid hand pump
brake clean
shop towels, gloves, rags
drain pan
flashlight
