Collar ties add structural support to your rafters. We're using our own milled lumber from our Harbor Freight sawmill to make our shed. This is the last part of construction before siding and roofing. We use the RK24 tractor from Rural King to make quick work of getting logs out of the forest and back to our sawmill. We also demonstrate the ability of the grapple bucket we added to our RK24 from Titan Attachments. It seems like we are on the right path to become homesteaders. This is our first of many projects we have planned for our property in southwest Virginia, including building our own home.
