Fulltime Vanlife in Berowra Valley | Cherrybrook | Hornsby

Starting off the day with a mountain bike ride through some trails in Cherrybrook, not far from Hornsby in Sydney's north (New South Wales, Australia). I saw something marked as the Natural Arch on Google Maps and figured it might be interesting to go and have a look. After a bit of searching and not correctly following the map, I did stumble across a very interesting sandstone rock feature.

The afternoon was spent exploring a few more areas near Cherrybrook, wandering down to the Pyes Creek swing bridge. As that was only a short walk, I decided to follow the creek down further through the gorge. Some nice cascades and plenty of mossy rocks.

The next day was time for a bigger walk through the Berowra Valley National Park, starting from Manor Drive in Hornsby and heading down to Fishponds. The original trail I planned to follow seemed to be closed so I followed the Berowra Creek for a while.

On the way back, went for a short walk up the Waitara Creek, along the Benowie Walking Trail to check out an area that was referred to on Strava as The Spa.

Curious about a strong floral odour I could smell near all the waterfalls, not just here but also in Yellowmundi National Park, I did a bit of Googling and found out what the unpleasant source of the smell is.....
