How to Brainstorm an Argument Essay for AP Lang Q3 | Class with Coach Hall Writes

Описание к видео How to Brainstorm an Argument Essay for AP Lang Q3 | Class with Coach Hall Writes

I thought I would try more of a “class-style” video this time, so if you like this kind of content, please let me know. In this video, I demonstrate one method for brainstorming an argumentative essay for the AP Lang FRQ portion of the exam. While this is certainly not the only way to brainstorm, and yes, some of these steps can be combined, this method helps students select evidence that they can write about specifically and determine a line of reasoning in their essay.

Prompt from the video: Assert a position on Douglass’ claim that progress cannot be achieved without struggle.
