Over all, I love Brian Rood's art for this story book. My main criticism is I would have preferred some scenes over other. That the Han and Ben scene was omitted seems a glaring oversight. On another note, like the other storybooks, this one alters film plot points to fit the abridged story. Palpatine in the film has no idea Ben and Rey are a dyad until they stand before him. I don't doubt he wanted Rey brought before him alive--he wanted to possess her, and the novel insinuates he prefers to possess his kin if possible--but seeing a dyad in front of him meant he could forgo the possession technique and simply drain the dyad.
And naturally, I would have liked the kiss to have been in here, LOL. Like the Golden Book of TROS, the Rey Skywalker scene is omitted, and this one doesn't even show the gold lightsaber. But despite that, it's a lovely book, and Ben and Rey are both given big pages to themselves.
