Politicos condemned as BJP leaders and supporters started protest outside BHU in Varanasi and started a 'Nyay March' in Delhi till the Election Commission office. Congress leader Meem Afzal said that the party is doing cheap politics and that they should have respected the panel's decision. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that Narendra Modi is just trying to seek media attention and has no intention towards sacred Ganga. Samajwadi Party leader Rajendra Chaudhary said that BJP is acting clever and that the people of UP is understanding everything. Meanwhile, JD (U) leader KC Tyagi also condemned the move to hold protest even when the poll panel gave permission to hold rallies.
