2006-2011 Honda Civic Shock & Strut Replacement

This procedure for changing the shocks and struts in a 2006-2011 Civic is very simple and can be done yourself with basic tools. Changing the shocks and struts in one of these Honda Civics is very easy to do. The cost of quick struts vs buying a traditional strut and changing the springs is very similar. You can save yourself a lot of work if you buy the struts preassembled (quick struts) like I used in this video. I did run into issues changing the rear shocks on this Civic. The lower bolts holding in the shocks were seized to the bushings and the lower shock bolts needed to be cut to get them out. Obviously going back together I had to source new hardware.
