2025 BMW X3 M50 VS 2024 BMW X3 M40i! The BATTLE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

In todays comparison we are taking a look at two BMW X3 models. The 2025 BMW X3 M50 and the 2024 BMW X3 M40i
For the 2025 BMW X3, this is the top trim level that we know of so far. The X3M Competition hasn't been announced and I think the M50 is now the top trim. This all new design with the 2025 BMW X3 certainly looks very modern. Sharp lines and flat body panels along with an LED lit grille surround. The interior of the new 2025 BMW X3 M50 has black leather on most surfaces and lot of ambient lighting and contrast M colors. Under the hood the 2025 BMW X3 xM50 features the inline six cylinder which is also paired to a mild hybrid system that pumps out more power! You can also opt for the four cylinder in the 30i if you want a less powerful SUV. So you do see a nice power gain from the previous years and between the engines. You will gets BMW's xDrive AWD system and a ZF 8 speed automatic transmission. For the overall look, I honestly I like the exterior for the 2025 model. It looks a bit boxy like the BMW XM. The interior feels cheap too I think in some aspects, but there are nice materials scattered throughout. We'll see how this style does but the outgoing 2024 BMW X3 would be the one I'd pick up since it just looks nice all around and costs a lot less. I think the 2025 BMW X3 xM50 drives great and has an adequate amount of power. Rides smooth and feels every bit of BMW.
The 2024 BMW X3 M40i has a lot of interior space and the back seats even recline to provide your passengers with plenty of comfort! There is a ton of room in the cargo area, and this can even tow a decent amount of weight!
The 2024 BMW X3 M40i has the bigger engine available and it's very quick, and also sounds great too! This is one step below the BMW X3 M Competition which is another $15-20K more. You get a more daily driver friendly SUV with this M40i! This is the perfect trim level for the X3 in my opinion!
The driving experience for this 2024 BMW X3 is great! It's very smooth and quiet and would make for a great daily driver and allows you to select several different drive modes depending on how you would like to drive for the day!
From what I have seen with pervious videos and comments, a majority of people like the 2024 BMW X3 more, but from what I have seen with multiple dealerships, the 2025 BMW X3's are moving fast off the lots, so people are buying them and enjoying the new design and style.
