Скачать или смотреть 3D Character Rigging Timelapse - Part 1, Torso, Hips and Shoulders

Here's the first part of my full character rigging process, starting by the torso, the hips and the shoulders (the most nightmarish part to rig).
I'm happy with the results so far, though my method isn't perfect yet. My goal is to use as few shape keys and manual weight painting as possible.
The model uses a Corrective Smooth modifier to help with the deformation, and I'm also using Multires.

It took me around 3 hours to rig this part, and around 18 hours to finish the whole rig. I don't plan to make more rigging tutos at the moment considering how long it takes, but maybe in the future. Hopefully the timelapse can give you some clues and ideas and still be helpful to some of you.
