I was prompted to do Red Wing when it was played on a You Tube video I was watching. Red Wing was written as a song in the early 1900s. Union Maid is also set to the same tune. I was familiar with the melody but I hadn’t really worked it out as a guitar instrumental. Going Down To Cairo is another tune with lyrics that I am doing strictly as an instrumental.

I am playing the 2016 Gibson L00 parlor guitar. Both tunes are in the key of G.
