The TRUE Origins of the Genestealer Cults | Building Warhammer Armies

Tracing the development history of one of the most insidious factions in the 40k universe!

The Genestealer has been present in Warhammer 40,0004 since the very beginning, but it has evolved and changed over time. Space Hulk made them into the best bad guy in the galaxy, whilst Advanced Space Crusade put them in league with the Tyranids, and then with Jes Goodwin’s hybrid Citadel Miniatures and White Dwarf’s incredible series of articles the Genestealer Cults emerged as an insidious Lovecraftian threat to the Imperium. Alas, they disappeared into the shadows for the better part of 20 years before making an incredible return in more recent years thanks to Deathwatch Overkill and a brand new Codex.
