Sew Sunday 11/24/24 Maple Leaf Quilt

In today's video I walk you through making a Maple Leaf Block using 5" squares to start.
I started by sewing 1 charm pack into HSTs I got 84- 4.5" blocks. I cut 6 total strips from 3 different fabrics from the line (so 2 each) into 4.5" squares. I cut 6- 5" strips off my background yardage and also cutting some 4.5" strips off my background yardage for the stems and the 1 solid square. I cut 5- 1" strips off of one of my fabrics to make the stems.
I have a total of 2 charm packs to use. I have 2 yards of a background. I have one 2yard cut and 2- 1.5yard cuts. I will make up the rest as I go. See ya in the next Sew Sunday to see what I am doing next with this project.
