By Far Canon EOS R Best Feature Gone TERRIBLY WRONG In Low Light & Flash Photography 📸⚡

The Canon EOS R Mirthless camera saves time and energy with its ability to show the current exposure of the image. But what happenes when you are in low light and using flash photography for wedding photography, events, and when in studio.

This feature known as Exposure Simulation is one of the EOS R greatest strengths but will cause you to miss focus, miss shots during event photography and any on the move photos. This is because the camera requires time to bump up the ISO before it will be able to find focus. The this can take up to as much as two seconds before you look through the view finder. To avoid this you will need to turn this setting off. This will allow you to have the view finder at a higher ISO than you photo settings always so that you can see what is there and so can the camera. This will speed up the work flow with the EOS R and have it act more like a DLSR.
