Babylon's Fall is an upcoming live-service action RPG from Platinum Games, it features their signature action combat gameplay and mechanics. I was lucky enough to be able to take part in a closed beta test last year and got to sample the gameplay.

I was pleased to see Platinum Games' signature action style back on-screen and liked the RPG systems on offer as well as the progression systems although there is still so much to uncover and understand.

The combat system itself was pretty decent and has great potential given the developers but I did have to consult their website to understand the gameplay properly! It's quite similar to Astral Chain...

The art style is pretty refreshing overall with some slick animation work as expected but there were some minor controller response issues that I hope will be ironed out come release.

Overall I'm quietly looking forward to Babylon's Fall next month and hope to cover it as much as I can but with the 'big one' coming out this Friday and working on new God Of War PC content...I'll be pretty busy! :):)
