How To Build a Shaker Style Bench - Reclaimed White Oak

In this episode, we build a shaker style bench. This bench was inspired by a scene in the movie One Flew Over The Cuckoo‘s nest. About 3/4 of the way into the movie, Jack Nicholson‘s character invites a few women into the sanitarium… There is a scene where Actor Scatman Crothers walks into a large institutional bathroom with one of the ladies and you can see this bench.
