John Tartaglia created and puppeteered the roles of Princeton and Rod in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Avenue Q. For the roles, he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. He's also appeared in Newsical, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek the musical and Johnnny and the Sprites. He delighted the crowd with a special song on a very special theme near and dear to many of the nights attendees, especially endearing because the event took place on the day after same-sex couples were allowed to get married in New York State! It was a sweet moment in the star-studded evening. To get your tickets for this year's show, go to www.nyclu.org/bway.
