Many people ask God to speak to them and are disappointed when God doesn’t speak.  But the problem isn’t God’s lack of communication, it is often our expectations about how God communicates.  God has spoken to all of us.  This video discusses some various ways that God speaks, including the most important way:  Through his Son, Jesus.  Hebrews 1:1-3 says, “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.  The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being.”  What does the Son of God express to us?  The Son of God dying on the cross is God’s communication to you about the depth of his love.  Even if God never said anything else to you, he has already spoken to you in the most powerful way possible in his sacrifice.
