The National Governors Association just CANCELLED their annual White House dinner with Trump. Here's why - and Trump's unhinged response.
What Happened:
Trump decided not to invite the governors of Maryland and Colorado to the annual dinner. When Democratic governors found out, they ALL said they wouldn't attend in solidarity. Then even REPUBLICAN governors decided to cancel the whole thing.
Trump's Excuse:
He claims he didn't invite Maryland's governor (a Black man) because he's "foul-mouthed" and Colorado's governor because of a woman "unfairly incarcerated for fighting voter fraud."
The Reality:
That Colorado woman was locked up for giving UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS to voting machines to people trying to OVERTHROW the election on Trump's behalf.
Trump's Response On Truth Social:
Calls governors "slob," "scum," and "foul-mouthed" while complaining about being called foul-mouthed. Even invited "horrendous California governor Gavin Newscum" and "slob of a governor JB Pritzker."
Then blames Oklahoma's governor for "incorrectly stating" his position - while admitting he excluded governors he deemed "not worthy."
The Irony:
Trump calls someone ELSE foul-mouthed, then proceeds to call multiple governors derogatory names in the SAME post.
