Hello !

You guys chose this movie for me : maybe because you loved it so much, maybe because you thought I would love it. I'm sorry to say that in both cases, you might be disappointed by my review. It's the longest reaction part I put for a movie so far, so you'll see that I was fully into it during half of the movie but also how they totally lost me at some point.

As I said in the review, the fact they represented Donnie as someone going crazy with imaginary friends, the past actions, the sleep walking and all, I went in that direction. And with the cut and weird scenes, the characters making me feel uncomfortable, I thought the writers were making us feel how crazier he was going. But when they began to imply that he was in fact the smarter one, it was too unbelievable for me. And even if with the traveling solution, the final answer is working, all of the journey taken is not. Maybe it would have worked better on me if Donnie wouldn't have been represented like that but as a regular guy. I would have seen a regular guy losing himself and I would have doubted whether he was crazy or not, when right there I began with the idea he was.

The mix between that, the things not working, the writers trying to mix traveling time, god things, crazy/not crazy things… It lost me, and I think they also lost themselves. Like I said in review, I don't like movies/shows which think that they created something so smart and better than anyone, when in fact they are not ending things right, they are letting so many things open, just because they didn't know how to write it, to end it, because they lost themselves.

Sorry guys, I didn't like it. I think that it's a movie you have to watch, to make your own opinion about it.
