IT'S HERE!!! After three weeks of writing/filming/editing like I'm running out of time, I have finally completed my long-awaited deep dive into my favorite ship of all time on the eve of Royai Week! This project (part essay, part self callout and part love letter) has been such an emotional and intellectually challenging labor of love, and a real step forward for my channel, and I like to think it's the crowning achievment of my Royai content! I will likely make more Royai videos in the future, but now that this video is up I think I'm going to take a break and focus on some other stuff I've wanted to make for a while!

Since this is my first video essay, I took inspiration from a variety of sources! I'd say my style is a combination of Katherine Steele and Schafrillas Productions, as well as a few cues from this fantastic video essay in terms of the musical and tonal choices!    • Видео
