🛠 Audi A3 Virtual Cockpit firmware update procedure
1. Enter VC hidden menu to check your current firmware version.
2. Find and download desired firmware update for your VC on mibsolution.one (user and password: guest). In my case 8W6906961R AU_C1_AU37X_0150_0742_prod for KI_FPK_AU37X device.
3. Use full-sized quality SD card, format it with FAT32 file system with the smallest allocation size available.
4. Unzip and copy firmware update files to the root directory of the SD card.
5. Remove other cards from the main unit and insert update SD into SD1 port.
6. Take the keyless remote to the receiver on the steering column and turn the ignition on.
7. Enter red hidden menu and start the update procedure.
8. Wait patiently. Virtual Cockpit display will go dark, indicators and warning lights will flash. Main unit will reboot several times before the new firmware is installed.
9. When the installation is complete you can hit "Resume" at the end of the update summary and "Cancel" on the next screen.
10. Use scan tool like OBDeleven or VCDS to clear the B201A / B201A00 fault.
11. Enter VC hidden menu to confirm that new version was installed.
12. Remove SD card, remove the key, remove external power supply.

⚠️ Warning! You are doing it at your own risk!
⚠️ Audi eTron users reported that FW 0150 has a misplaced icon bug.
⚠️ Make sure your cars battery is in good shape or use external power source to make sure that voltage drops will not interrupt firmware update.
