In March 2012, residents of Port Heiden in Southwest Alaska discovered a deceased Northern sea otter and a surviving male pup along Meshik Beach.
During his five-week stay at the Alaska SeaLife Center he gained six pounds, doubling his body weight. After his final health checks, the otter was cleared by veterinary staff to leave the rehabilitation facility at the Alaska SeaLife Center. He, along with 2 caregivers, were transported by FedEx flight to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium on April 18, 2012.

Here are a few moments of his journey to Pittsburgh.
