Commissioned by clarinettist Rocco Parisi, this sonatine was created during the Clarinetfest of 2016 in Lawrence, USA. The first movement "Energia" oscillates between binary phrasing and feeling swing. The second movement "Malinconia" explores with tenderness and force all the register of the instrument, from the grave to the extreme suraigu. As for the last movement called "Tarantella", those are variations a theme inspired by traditional Italian music.
