Good day. And welcome to our 60 second business book review.

Today we’ll be reviewing 'The Dream Manager' written by Matthew Kelly.

It’s 1 of my favourites & will take you 2 – 3 hours to read or listen too.

This book is a fantastically written story about a business leader & his executive team, who set out to transform their business by actively engaging a dis-engaged workforce.

As business leaders & managers we should all be striving to create an environment that helps our employees become the best version of themselves, which will at the same time stimulate growth & move our organisations toward the best version of itself too.

The secrets that Matthew uncover in this book unveil the very core of what drives us as humans, not only at work, but in every area of our lives.

Matthew has a great ability to bring the characters to life with believable scenario’s & challenges, which both the organisation & employees must overcome.

It’s a heart-warming story of a nearly appointed General Manager called Simon, who took on the challenge of turning around the fortunes of a commercial cleaning business, through positive engagement with their employees. To the point where the employees and the organisation become 1 unstoppable force.

‘The Dream Manager’ (in my opinion) should be read by every business & department leader, and it will provide you with some fantastic ideas on how to fully engage your team members.

We’ve learnt heaps from this book. Some of which we’ve already used and other things that we plan to use as our organisation grows.

It's a must read & gets a big thumbs up from me.
