Antarctica alone holds 90% of world's ice. Remaining 9% is Greenland and all other ice on earth only constitutes to about 1% of world's total ice. Antarctica's ice sheets are so huge that its average thickness is about 2 km. It will even reach to more than 4 km in some places! That is tremendous. Now, what will happen if all of this ice melted? If all of the world's glaciers melted, then the sea level will rise for about 70 meters. This will cause mega floods in every single land on Earth. All of the cowstalls will be submerged under water. Billions of people will loose their home and land. About 3.2 billion people would have to move to inland. The entire human civilization will collapse. It might even lead to another mass extinction.
