I said it a few times last year and I've said it a lot this year, I don't think Norway can sustain this large a selection process and not have issues with the quality. Out of the 26 songs put forward, I think less than half of them really deserve to be there and this year, there are some really bad efforts at the bottom of my ranking. I really want Norway to get back to their 10 song, one-week national finals...where pretty much every song was great.

That being said, there are some major positives. Firstly, Norway did a much better job this time around of making that their pre-qualified acts are actually the acts that deserve the final. There's nothing obviously bad already in the final like last year *Cough*Akuvi*Cough*. The other positive is that I think Norway has three really strong potential ESC entries in their final. All of my top three would easily qualify from a Eurovision Semi Final in my opinion.


I do know I have some supposed fan favourites at the bottom of my ranking but be respectful, I can't help it if y'all have bad taste! ;)
