The Marriage of Heaven and Hell by William Blake

"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro’ narrow chinks of his cavern."

About the Series:

PASSAGES is a popular intellectual adventure Tuesday nights during summer at PRS. We take a passage from the great texts of the world—known, obscure, sacred, literary, etc. President Greg Salyer provides context for the passage and the work, then the discussion is off and running. It’s college without the grades but with the learning, and it’s edifying discussions about texts you’ve always wanted to read or never heard of but should have. Join us!
