High Cup Nick, Cumbria

Taking Andy Wardle's advice, I took my daughter on a small section of the Pennine Way to see High Cup Nick.

The start of the hike is at Dufton near Appleby and requires a twisty car journey over the pennines via Alston. So my daughter took a travel sickness tablet to be on the safe side and this left her drowsy, making the walk particularly difficult for her.

Plus a biting wind and freezing conditions meant my daughter did not enjoy this one as much as I had hoped. Perhaps in warmer weather and without the drowsiness, she would've enjoyed it better.
