6 cups (1.4L) water, divided
1 cup granulated sugar (or adjust to-taste) (200g)
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (seeds removed) (236ml)
¼ cup cranberry juice (NOT cranberry juice cocktail, must be 100% cranberry juice) (60ml)

00:25 Prepare the syrup: Combine a cup (236ml) of the water and the sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir frequently until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for at least 10 minutes.
