Obi-Wan Kenobi is an upcoming American television miniseries based on the Star Wars character of the same name that will air on Disney+. Deborah Chow directs the series, which is set ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005). Joby Harold serves as showrunner.

Along with Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse, Ewan McGregor serves as executive producer and appears as the title character, repeating his role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The series also stars Moses Ingram, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, and Sung Kang. The concept began as a spin-off film written by Hossein Amini and directed by Stephen Daldry, but after the commercial failure of Solo: A Star Wars Story, Amini rebuilt it as a limited series (2018). In August 2019, McGregor was announced to star, while Chow was signed to direct a month later. The series was set to begin production in July 2020, however it was put on hold indefinitely in January 2020 because Lucasfilm was displeased with the scripts. In April 2020, Harold was hired to rewrite the series, and more castings were announced in March 2021. Filming began in May 2021 in Los Angeles and ended in September 2021, using StageCraft video wall technology. The primary theme was written by John Williams, who also composed the rest of the soundtrack, making Natalie Holt the first woman to score a live-action Star Wars project.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on May 27, 2022, and will run for six episodes until June 22, 2022.
