The ROQ Dry Run Quartz flash dryer is a simple solution to solve inconsistent flashing, increase production speed, and avoid the dangers of burning shirts. Designed as an entry level flash but built with the same technology and quality of ROQ automated equipment, the Dry Run is great for the production and budget of for growing manual or small automated shop.

The ROQ Dry Run Quartz Flash can work either on a manual press or small ROQ automatic on either single or 3 phase 208v/220v power.

On a manual press, the flash operates on a foot pedal with a time and zone control on the flash, Select the amount of time you want to flash, and how many zones you want to flash with if you are not doing a full print. With 9 of bulbs and 9000 watts of power, the ROQ Dry Run can flash in a matter of seconds, simply print, spin, hit the pedal, and flash, when you are done, it safely and automatically turns off, even if you leave it on accidentally, you don’t run the risk of burning anything. As your pallets heat up, you can lower your time accordingly.

Zone control can be used to save power and energy for smaller designs as each zone only turns on X bulbs.

The great part of this flash, is that if you have a ROQ, or ever get one in the future, you can simply integrate the command port of the flash, ditch the foot pedal, and the press will tell the flash when to turn on. The 3 phase version of this flash will even plug into and be powered by the press.

The ROQ Dry Run Quartz bulbs are optimized for flashing the correct wavelength and the flash control panel modulates the bulbs to keep them warm so they last longer since they do not have to do hard starts and stops during production. Since your bulbs are only on for 3-4 seconds a shirt, you actually save a considerable amount of energy during production vs an IR flash that is always on, even though an IR flash typically uses less power.

Do the math, 100 shirts an hour by 4 seconds is 400 seconds or just over 6 and a half minutes. If you ran a IR flash for that hour, that would be 60 minutes of production, that means your are running your quarts only 1/9th the time, thats crazy.

The ROQ Dry Run pulls 25 amps 1 phase 208 and 44 amps 3 phase and comes with a plug and plug adapter your electrician can wire. It is UL certified, and comes with a 3 year warranty and at about half the price of our other roq flashes is easy to get into. We even have special financing programs with Credit Key that allow you to pay for the flash over the course of a year if you want with a quick and easy qualification at checkout on https://www.screenprinting.com
