Delay In Selection Process: Women Health Workers Protest for Employment

In a protest against the prolonged delay in the appointment process, 27 women health workers, who were selected over two years ago, have yet to receive their appointments. Despite repeatedly raising the issue, their claims have gone unheard. As a result, the women gathered today to stage a protest at the office of the Public Health Department. The protesting workers, who have completed their training and are waiting for official appointments, have threatened that if their demands are not met, they will resort to extreme measures, including collective self-immolation. The delay in the appointment process has caused frustration among the workers, who are now taking their grievances to the streets in a desperate attempt for justice.
