Hazara University is situated on the crossroads of the ancient civilization of Gandhara and Ashoka and facing the Silk Route on the outskirts of Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Hazara University, Mansehra was established in 2001 near Dhodial city, Mansehra, Pakistan. This University offers different undergraduate bachelor’s degrees, postgraduate master’s degrees, as well as doctorate programmes. This University has Two full-Fledged University Campuses at Havellian And Huripure and third new campus at Batagram.

There are 36 undergraduate programmes at the university that are four-years in duration and are offered across four main faculties: Sciences, Arts, Law, Administration and Health Sciences.

Hazara University has the Museum that displays the rich cultural and ethnic heritage of Pakistan. The museum houses have Wooden Objects Gallery, Archaeological Gallery, Ethnological Gallery, and Owais Gallery. All students can also access the central library, with a collection of over 80,000 multiple titles and 300 journals in various formats.

Hazara University is the leading university of KPK. Hazara University won the certificate of the Top one university of KPK and 2nd best University of Pakistan.

There is also a Dhodial Pheasantry adjacent to the Hazara University. It is a pheasantry and breeding center for several species of very beautiful pheasants situated in District Mansehra, Pakistan. The main purpose of the set up of this Pheasantry is for the purposes of research, conservation, tourism, and education. This pheasantry has around 250 exhibits providing shelter to around 4,000 birds, which is open to public .
