Описание к видео 2011 - 2021 GM Ecotec 1.4L Water Pump Replacement (Chevy Cruze, Sonic, Trax, Buick Encore)

In this video we will go thru replacing the water pump on a GM 1.4L Ecotec engine. These 1.4L Ecotec engines can be found in the Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Sonic, Chevrolet Trax, and Buick Encore within the model year range of the video title.

The vehicle illustrated is a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Eco with the RPO LUJ/LUV style GM Ecotec 1.4L engine. The parts and procedures shown are applicable to the following Chevy Sonic, Chevy Trax, or Buick Encore vehicles with the same specific GM Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine. The engine attachment procedure will be very similar for the Chevy Volt, and Cadillac ELR, with the RPO LUU style GM Ecotec 1.4L non-turbocharged engine design, but using a different water pump kit part number. I have listed both water pump kits for your convenience below:
