This video was shot in Kameray, a small village in East Sikkim on the occasion of Dasai (Dusshera). It is a traditional way of making Beaten Rice (Chewra) which is generally eaten with Curd (youhurt) and Banana. The big wooden log used to beat the roasted paddy is called 'Dhiki' .
