DCL Shopping Haul and Palo Dinner | Disney Magic Nov 2023

Today is a relaxing sea day, starting with a sit down breakfast at Lumiere’s followed by my cruise tradition, a salted caramel coconut latte at Cove Cafe complete with a cute Star Wars-themed design. Next we explored the shops, splurging on merchandise—all thanks to a $300 onboard credit for the itinerary change. The beautiful ocean views gave way to a unique view, sailing through a foggy stretch. We went downstairs to try our best at multiple trivia rounds, no spoilers on how we did! Finding ourselves hungry we decided to try something new, lunch on the pool deck where we found some surprisingly tasty chicken shawarma. Thanks to a brief rest we were able to indulge in a fabulous dinner. We were impressed by the Magic’s excellent Palo chef and staff, bringing forward flavors we haven’t experienced from other Palo kitchens. The highlight of the evening was Tangled: The Musical, followed by the excitement of Pirate Night and fireworks—our first in quite a while. The day felt both productive and leisurely, reminding us just how much we love the intimate atmosphere of the smaller Disney ships.
