0430start in 9th August for a sailing trip to Caernarfon. Forecast was ideal with Easterlies forecast to an F4-5 toward Anglesey. The sail was timed to go through the notorious Swellies at slack water about 2 hours before HW Liverpool. Once through its about an another hour to Caernarfon. We stopped for a couple of days then sailed back stopping at the Gazelle to wait the tide. It one of the rare trips where we manage to sail nearly all of it. And the first trip with a new to me light airs Genoa.
Trip back started with very light winds and the new light Genoa proved its worth - I recommend getting one!
