Pike Fishing West Wales

in this video me and my friend tom head down to bosherton lilyponds to try our hand at catching some nice pike.

we had two sessions down here and ended up landing some jacks along the way.

the northern pike often referred to by the latin name Esox Lucius are a predatory fish found in rivers, lakes and reservoirs. they are known simply as pike in the united kingdom and most of europe.
pike can grown to quite a large size with the average length of around 50cm. the biggest recorded pike published weights around 63lb.
they are most often an olive green shading from yellow to white along the belly. they also have darker marking along the sides, top and fins to help it keep camouflaged.
