Hey guys Toyhouze here with another video for you all. In my profession guide video, I gave a summary of each profession and listed off which classes it would make sense to pick up each profession. But in that video some people wanted to know what is the BEST profession to pick for your class in both PvP and PvE. So in this video, I’ll be talking about the BEST professions to pick for each of the 9 classes in battlegrounds, arenas, dungeons and raids, and for leveling. And you know that’s one thing that is really exciting about TBC - how good the professions are, so it’s really important to choose the right ones for your class. So jumping right into it the first class we’ll be talking about today is the warrior. When it comes to leveling skinning is the way to go. Skinning is easy money since people will want to level Leatherworking the leg enchants at 70 are Best in slot, and of course, Leatherworking is easily the best PvE profession to the point that some guilds may require it and, other guilds will regularly give you raid spots if you have it, because of the incredible Drums of Battle, which increases haste on all party members by 80 for 30 seconds. People call this a mini-bloodlust. It’s basically they best thing you can bring to a party or raid. Going back to leveling, you can either pick up herbalism or mining. Both these gathering professions are good. Keep in mind you need a pickaxe for mining, but herbalism does not require that 1 bag space slot. You’re likely to run into herbs and ore deposits while leveling, but if you aren’t keeping track, it’s easy to fall behind. Thus, skinning is the best, it integrates easily with leveling, it’s not hard to keep up with, and the leather will be in high demand in TBC. You should consider creating a bank alt and mailing the leather to your bank alt to save it for when you go leatherworking if PvE is your goal. And of course you need a skinning knife for skinning, so don’t forget that, I know we all do.

Next we’ll talk about Arena. Now, a big difference between arena and battlegrounds is that a lot of the engineering items that are amazing in PvP can’t be used in arena. For example, rocket boots got removed in 2.4.3., which is likely to be the version Blizzard plans on using for TBC classic. The only engineering item that can be used in TBC as of 2.4.3 is the Nigh Invulnerability Belt. This belt is cloth with a use effect to protect you with a shield of force that stops 4000 damage for 8 seconds. However, it can backfire and cause you to take 200% increased damage. If you ask me, this thing is not worth it at all. You lose the stats from having a regular plate belt with good stats for a chance at absorbing some damage, and a small chance of losing the arena match altogether. So engineering is really a no-go for Arena PvP. Now, a lot of you are probably thinking, what about the hand mounted rocket launcher, the rocket boots, and so on?
